Great Job Rob can't to see what it can do

Little update post - sled is basically all together as seen in the pictures. Met up with Dave from Hurricane performance at the race track on the weekend and left the sled with him. (was it ever hard to be at the track and not be racing!!) He's taking the sled home with him this week to wire up his stand alone ECU, install the inter cooler that will be in on Tuesday. I usually do all my own work on my sled, but I have been working very closely with Dave on this project using his motor set up and his stand alone. I was really hoping to head down and spend a couple days with him on the wiring and ecu, but works been too busy to get away - gotta pay the bills!! He has all the connectors and sensors needed in stock so the plan is that on Friday I will head down and spend the day on the dyno and see what kind of power we can make. I've attached a couple of pictures of sleds at the track that I'll be competing with - hope I've got enough!

I posted earlier that I was talking to Allan Ulmer about his header for the Apex - well it came on on Friday - and let me tell you what a nice piece this is. The quality is exactly what I've come to expect from Allan - only the best, and this is gong to be durable compared to the stock pipe I've been using. I'm on number 3 stock header in the life of the sled and have had to weld them up numerous times between. The turbo and studded is very hard on them, and we all know guy's have had problems with the stock one with the sled in stock form with high miles. The pipe makes 4-5 hp more through the RPM range on a stock sled, and If everything goes well on the dyno and we have time I'm going to change it and see what kind of increase we get with the turbo. If you need a header for the Apex and trying to decide - this is a no brainer over the stock one! He also has it on sale on the web site.
