We will be running radar runs with this sled and I was a bit worried about the track ballooning at high speed so I chose to go the 136 route to have a bit of a lighter track. as well I will probably run this thing on the tar and Will only be able to get a 136" track for that application so I didn't want a long extended tunnel hanging over the back. I may have problems with traction if I line up for a drag race though!

That's not bad at all, so your going to be running 10t drivers with the 9" rear iddler and a 136" track?.. I really like the sounds of that.jabber800 said:Dave the rails are really a nice piece. Brock at ice age was great to deal with and price was fair. $500.00
With wanting to run 10 tooth drivers and big rear wheels I was going to have to run an offset rear axle and I didn't think that was a good idea on a high hp sled. This was a bit more money but I feel the safer way to build this.

Actually running 10 tooths with 9.5" rear wheels. Added a bunch of oversized idlers into the skid as well. Should have pics of the completed skid up late tonight or tomorrow. Have to pick up a couple more wheels and blocks tonight.
