ARE YOU READY!!!

I hope they do another teaser video, a progression, like they did with the sport side by side!

Maybe in two days?.....every Thursday until the release?

We'll get more videos before March 1st. Below this one it says "To be continued..."

i don't mind the weight if it doesn't make the sled more difficult to ride ...and smooth and mellow trail riding is one thing, but ruff and fast trails is another... in a 500 mile day, you see both and you want a sled that does it all...
Apex is the most perfect sled built for the groomed trail. All else pale in comparison! All hail Apex.:yam:

Except the riding position....and fuel tank size on EPS sleds.....and THE DRONE...other than that its good

1) IMO the riding position isn't that bad.... A pivot rider does wonders for comfort.
2) Still has way more range than a lot of other sleds I know of
3) I have never experienced the drone that some guys talk about and I even have my cross-over pipes cut out.
My biggest complaint is they just need a better suspension.

These were the 3 big reasons I sold my last Apex. I have had a 2005 RX1, 2009 Nytro XTX, a 2012 Apex, 2005 Rage, 2014 Viper. I put about 15k on the 4cylinder and 3 cylinder platforms each( not each sled). I know people love the 4cylinder and I agree its an awesome motor. But for me the BEST all around 4stroke trail motor in the biz is the 3cylinder Yamaha. Its quiet, fuel efficient and has good power . The 4cylinder is awesome, but to ride in ALL trail conditions for 200 miles, make mine the 3 cylinder.

I don't think so. Multiple people, multiple helmets on multiple sleds. If there is one helmet that gets rid of that brain rattling drone then it should be included in the sale of the sled. It is between 20 and 35 miles an hour. I don't want to hear " go faster" that reply is asinine. I tried helmets, Dynamat and intake and exhaust changes--no go.

I get the drone on my vector between 28-32 mph i find it the worst.

Yeah multiply helmets multiply riders with helmets all under $400, those aren't helmets just cheap knock offs, and if you are wearing a moto helmet you deserve the drone. Get a real helmet something $600 and above and enjoy the ride.
I use Arai RX7 Nicky Hayden RR, with no drone issues.

I don't understand the drone thing either. I enjoy the sound of the 4 cyl 4s. Have had a snoforce and hjc helmet since my rx-1 and apex. Haven't had issues. Maybe it's because my hearing isn't that good, though.

I am thinking the Apex and its exhaust system were not designed for that speed Not poking here just saying in the nicest sort of way.
Here is what I know about the New 17 sleds..... It will have BNG.

The drone is not a sound issue per sey. It's a harmonic resonance in the chassis that the bones in your ear "feel". I too have tried Dynamat and other things without any luck.

I am deaf in one of my ears and the hearing in my other ear is failing. The drone remains the same....

You don't know what I spend on helmets. This point isn't even debatable. It is there.

Can't recommend using hearing protection enough regardless of brand.
You'll be amazed at the reduced fatigue and you can actually hear your motor better at a reduced volume.
