I am the worlds worst speller but my snowmobile says ATTAK NOT ATTACK. Maybe thats way other brands just use letters for their sleds, they cant spell either. Just kidding. ATTAK OR ATTACK its all the same just AWSOME. The sleds are the best!!!!

It was a two fold benefit dropping the C. First was the cost savings involved. About 2 cents per sled. Multiply that by all the sleds produced and one could buy a case of beer. The other is the weight issue. Everyone wants the sled to be lighter so they dropped the "C". Saved about 2 milligrams of weight. 8)

Ski-dog is probably right. Everyone keeps telling us about how much weight we carry. It's important that Yahama keeps reducing the weight a little at a time on these wuntons, because all the critics will soon be standing in line to get one of these high preformance 4 strokes, especially if we can slim down a few more pounds.

Most likely, the real reason for it to be spelled Attak is Quebec, where the law would otherwise force it to be translated to attaque. Apex is ok since there is a french word apex with the same meaning.
