I purchased a 17 sidewinder this year and am going through the sled to get it ready for the season, bearings, chaincase, skid etc. The sled has a pro 4 billet clutch and i want to make sure the belt alignment is correct. If i measure according to yamaha specs i only get like 53mm and thats with 1 shim behind the secondary. I do believe the inner primary sheave is thinner than the stock clutch. How do i align these clutches

I believe the Huricane alignment tool that uses the faces of the driven and drive clutch would work. But I'm sure smarter guys than me will give you the answer to your question . There is a lot of smart guys willing to share on this site.I purchased a 17 sidewinder this year and am going through the sled to get it ready for the season, bearings, chaincase, skid etc. The sled has a pro 4 billet clutch and i want to make sure the belt alignment is correct. I would call whomever sold you the clutch and ask them.

You should be 54-56 MM offset.
