Unwind works best for me. Lots of neck/chest protection, works well with electric shield. Is a little pricey but worth the money.

I was just doing some shopping since its snowing here. this thread must be some sort of sign.
I think what I am going to go with is the UnWind with the breating piece, and also a No-Fog for my regular use. I am going to grab a cheap balaclava and dicky too while I am at it just for extra stuff and so the Mrs has some warm options if she jumps on the back.
Any suggestions>? I am in northern ontario so -20C is pretty common, and dont want to get cold, but want to have some light optionstoo
I will be wearing a HJC SPX helmet with oakley MX frame goggles

This is the one I use from Canadian Tire:
http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/A ... ?locale=en
It has a nice thin cover for the head and face, with a nice thick windproof section covering the neck and below...$20

Sounds like what I am after, hopefully Royal sells them or I can find one at the Peterborough sled swap/meet this Sunday?
Thanx

Has anyone used the activa windshield baclava dickie? I picked up the 509 helmet and goggles, thinking of trying that one out as the one i have now is way to thick to use.

Must have been posting at the same time Grimm.
That sounds and looks like a decent one!
The neck/chin area looks a little bulky, any issues getting your helmet buckled up?
Thanks for the link.

No issues at all.
I use all arctiva gear now including my balaclava with my snocross helmet. I've used just about every brand and style out there and I would choose the arctiva any day for warmth and comfort...little more expensive them some but well worth it IMHO

anything with a neoprene face for me and something with a no fog nose for fogging and warmth when necessary
