Planning to go to a 136 on my 06 gt and was wondering how big of a paddle can i go with without any mods? Running the stock mono 121 right now with the original track with studs. Planning on rail extensions to get to 136.

Some guys will tell you that you can squeeze a 1.5 lug in there without taking the protectors out and other guys say you have to take them out. I still have my 1.25 which I run loose and it looks to me that there is some rubbing on the protectors. So I suspect 1.5 with protectors may fit, but probably rub, then you can cut them out, which looks fairly easy. Make use of the Search... option in the top right corner. Type in, Track Lug. Probably lots of good info.

From the research I have done on this site, you can fit up to a 1.75 inch track. But you have to take the tunnel protectors off. I am not sure on the 1.5. Me and my brother do not run studs, so for us we do not need the tunnel protectors. They say with the tunnel protectors off, in the dead of winter you shave about 10-20 lbs of ice and snow. I have the ltx which is the 136, and when I need a new track I am going 1.75". Hope this helps some.

I installed a 1.5 inch 121 ripsaw on my 2007 Apex gt. It left little skid marks on the tunnel protectors(kinda like in your underwear sometimes!)
. I live in Ottawa and with the snow and weather conditions we get around here, I would not do it again, as it ate 4 sets of sliders that year, insted of 1 set every 10,000km. If you have lube tho 1.5 will fit with the protectors in. I just extended my 2011 Apex to 136 and put on the prestudded 1.25 inch ice attack, it has more of a paddle lug as opposed to the ripsaw, awesome track hooks up great, the sled loved this upgrade.
