add another to the boost club!
stage 2 supercharger with other goodies!
well I am wondering before the season starts, if I should or shouldnt and is it really worth it?
blow off valve for my S/C.
is it worth the money?
what kind should I go with?
does it have that sound of a turbo? or?
thanks,

Welcome.....
Bench check it to make sure it opens at 4-5" of vacuum.
You won't need as much fuel on the bottom end with a bov so monitor your air fuel gauge and adjust your fuel controller as needed. Idle 12:1-13:1 (engine at full operating temp), Cruise 12:1-13:1-14:1, Hard acceleration 10:1-11:1-12:1, Wide-open throttle 12:1. This is assuming your air fuel gauge is accurate and has not been fouled with leaded fuel or overheated.
You can "T" the Bypass-Valve vacuum line into these lines anywhere you like....

Vortech Maxflow Bypass/Blow-off Valves improve supercharger operations by opening to relieve unwanted pressure during deceleration. This reduces heat build-up and eliminates compressor surge. These units feature a "rolling diaphragm" design which provides ultra-quick valve response along with unmatched durability.
Our Maxflow Racing Bypass/Blow-off Valve flows 320 CFM@8 PSIG and features a compact design that is ideal for imports and others with tight engine compartments. These units will retrofit to standard HKS/Greddy style mounting pads and out performs anything its size. Bypass valve is preset to open at four to five inches of vacuum and Blow-off valve is preset to open at 10 to 11 inches of vacuum. Installation gasket is included. The outlet mates to a 1.75" hose.

Welcome to the boost club
I run a turbo but same applies to a SC, I also run the same Vortech MaxFlow Bypass Valve HAMMER refers to.
It works and it is definitively worth it. It reduces compressor surge and stalling to virtually nothing because it reacts really fast letting off pressure when you shut the throttle abruptly. Thus letting the compressor spin more freely reducing compressor wheel rpm drop (Turbo at least) . On and off throttle response at full boost is wastly imporved.
On the turbo, installing the Vortech made my idle (14.7-15.7 AFR) and partial throttle (14.5 AFR) go leaner, had to go up on pilot jets. This may be totally different on your sled. If you want to tune your air/fuel mixture to perfection to the best possible performance, a Wideband AFR meter is a must.
