Boostane

I bought some 4oz aluminum bottles from the following company for about $1.60 each. They have a lot of different options including glass.

What kind of seal do they have on the cap? I found the seal on some of these cheap flasks don't seal well and leak, wonder if the plastic cap will be a problem too and leak or get eaten up depending on the plastic used.

Have you used them yet in the trunk of the machine with Boostane in them for any miles?

I have not received the bottles yet but I am assuming that the cap insert is just typical coated paper, but that is just a guess. I was thinking that I might have to cut a piece of silicone or something or buy a nylon washer or something to replace it worse case. I am not thinking of storing Boostane in the bottles long term but more like using them for a week or so and then emptying them for longer storage. I tried to see if Boostane is reactive to aluminum but I did not find anything that said it was a problem, thus I ordered and should be getting them any day now.

The 5 oz flasks I am using are all metal and never leaked all last season.

Bought a couple wisky flasks from amazon a couple years ago and the plastic type material for a gasket swelled and leaked so i cut cork automotive sheet gasket material as replacements, holds the boostane with out issue.

I wish I could have found something like that in 2oz. I use plastic, and left some boostane in it. You can see the plastic deteriorating within the plastic container.
So, IMHO, plastic can be used for day trips, etc. just wouldn't leave it in there for any great length of time.
Nice one, Bob!
I use Boostane Profssional. I carry 2 oz glass bottles in my pocket. They are thick-walled. Never had any issues with them. 2 oz will treat 8 gals of 91 up to 95 octane "supposedly." Been working.

Our group is using 4 oz acetone bottles from Walmart. One season of use so far, no leaks. The bottles are staining brown a little bit.

I just wrap the 32oz can in a towel and put it in my saddle bag.

Been using a 16oz SeaFoam bottle wrapped in a towel

A glass "Nip" bottle would be perfect. 50ml (1.7 oz.). You know they won't leak and as an added benefit you can see exactly how much you have used if you only take a half tank fill up

Ive been using left over lucas octane bottles for mine but I like the Idea of those 5oz aluminum bottles.
