What about Sledtoyz ball joint inserts?
http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php? ... sc&start=0

Shouldn't take too long by mail. I've got them in both sleds. So far, so good.

My ball joints are pretty worn out, I don't know that I'd want to reuse the balls and just replace the race.

I have a new set of uppers and lowers, PM me if you are interested, probably have them by Weds express post.

I don't think so as Crewchief is still advertising them. The balls on our joints are extremely hard. It's the outer race that wears out. I modified my a-arms and the brass races to add a grease zerks.

Just to update this thread, NCI has indeed stopped producing the ball joint kits and SledToyz has no stock.

I have one 2010-11 assy for sale in classifieds section.
Taking offers.

Anyone know a good place to order ball joints online?

Best place to use is in Ontario Yamaha genuine parts there shipping is supper fast and if they got to order it they have it in two days not two weeks like local shop.

Call the, and ask for Debbie

I don't find the prices that good at all there compared to the US. Just one thing I'm looking at for my son's Phazer, the MTX tunnel extension panel 8GP-21918-00-00:

Ontario Genuine Parts: $72.29 + $19 shipping in Ontario
PartsPitStop: $49.31 + $60 Shipping to Canada ($12.60 to NY + $5 parcel holding)

For the balljoint 8HK-23579-00-00 (updated one):

Ontario Genuine Parts: $121.13 + $19.38 shipping to Ontario
PartsPitStop: $60.44 + $57.25 shipping to Canada ($11.60 to NY + $5 parcel holding)

I have to admit that I am blessed that I am 45 minutes from the border and can pick up my parcels in Ogdensburg NY. I use a service that receives and holds my parcels for $5 each on the US side. If you don't have a Yamaha dealer close by or the one you deal with is a douche, it may be worth it to use an online retailer, either Canadian or US.

The service I use is MyUSAddress.ca. They also ship it forward to Canada so if you were to order from PartsPitStop and avoid their crazy shipping fees to Canada, you could have MyUSAddress forward it to you. Would probably be more worth it the more you order.

But how can Yamaha Canada justify DOUBLE the price??? Really???

Don't forget you also need the 2 collars, top and bottom if you are going from a 2008-09 ball joint to the 2010-11 updated ones.
