The bearing is 1.77 ID. The new shaft is 1.76 OD. I was able to use a stone on an air grinder to hone out the center of the shaft a little bit. Slid the wedge in after that and has a snug fit. It's good to have someone smart in the family. So my brother in law says aircraft max torque for a 1/2" inch bolt is 460 to 515 inch/lbs. So we set the wedge bolt to 45 ft/lbs. Yes, that's a little over 515 inch/lbs. The bearing would not budge on the shaft, and spun easily. Also, make sure you put the wedge all the way in to the washer. I had mine in before only to the flats for a wrench, and looking at it outside the sled, that is not in far enough. Put the sled back together today, and set the wedge to 45 ft/lbs.
