Bought a sled werx trail dominator kit for my 2014 ltx, kit uses dalton helix, primary spring and dalton 54 gram adjustable weights. Set up per instructions, added 5 grams to bring weights to 59 grams, loaded towards heel, helix set at 3-1. Engages nice and smooth, shift rpm is low, around 8300.pulls to 8500.Took some weight out to 58.4 grams, picked up a few hundred rpms, but still low.Any ideas to get rpms higher? The way it is now performs close to my son's 2015 ltx, but I was hoping for more.

3-1 on the secondary seems low to me if you're using a Yamaha spring. In most cases I've always run between 60 and 90 and most often 70. Add the two numbers and multiply x 10.

i would try 5-2 or 5-3 and see what that does need to be above 8600 rpm to see any performance.

with stock driven spring I whould go to 6-1 and syart from there.your shift rpm should move at 8500 and climb to 8800-8900.the target is 9000 on normal conditions.I will try that tomorrow, thanks

Tried 6-1, thought the six was a 5, with better lighting the helix numbers are 0, 3, 6 and 9. Now shifts 8350 to 8400. climbs to 8750. I will try again in better conditions. Thanks for the tips

Roughly 200 rpm change per gram of weight.
