Interesting!
Is the point to stop the bolt from rattling inside the collar?
Picture?

Bolt is too long and this takes up the space, My O-rings went missing as well.

WoW! I can't wait to try it! My clutch rattle is so loud that I am embarrassed to have the sled idling with anyone standing around.
I thought my sled was the only one rattling. I was even too embarrassed to make a post on it.

Old Thumper ---i just used the nylon washers no o-rings. I also did this with my Phazer too and no problems .

I know the noise isn't "bad" but I am still going to do the two nylon washer trick. I will just like it more. These are the worlds greatest motors in sleds and like it when it sounds that way.

i think yamaha's original fix for the vectors was a plastic washer in the same position - same thing.

If you think the noise isn't that bad, listen to what the engine sounds like without the primary clutch. Take off the clutch and try it.

Hmm I wonder why the bolt is too long?
I cant understand why it is like that if it doesnt serve a purpose??
If you add o-rings or washers to remove the "slack" why couldnt you just cut the collar and or bolt so that it becomes tight?
I figure it has something to do with reducing wear on the bushing inside the roller?
Or do they just want to make sure that you dont create "tension" in the clutch to avoid exploding or something?
