Thought I would share our new Nytro head we are using in conjunction with our Impulse turbo kits. Would work great on a N/A sled also. Fully CNC ported, plus one valves and Kibblewhite valve spring....

I will have the flow graph here soon as well as some dyno results when we finish up putting this motor in our drag quad chassis for the summer. From what we have seen with our Raptor turbo and other projects is quicker spool time and just greater power through the curve.
We worked with Racers Edge out of Arizona to do the CNC work, they have some of the fastest 4stroke quads in the country and do everything from quads to Hemi heads. Top notch stuff

Price is to have the work done on your head, we are trying to line up a few to have an exchange program to get you on the snow quicker!

I am just amazed at the extra expense of 'snowmobile' cylinder head porting vs. 'motorcycle' head porting......more than double.
You are getting valvetrain too though.

$800 for valves is a little much...
Ferrea valves are approx $20 each.....

Yeah I know I used to run a port shop and we would do v6 heads (basically double the work of the nytro head) for about $1100 total, including new ferrea valves, upgraded springs, etc.
Oh well gotta pay to play. Porting is a lot of work although ours was by hand and now with CNC grinder it must be a little easier if it works the way I think it does.

CNC head porting of 4cyl bike heads is approx $600.
Approx $250 for a nice angle valve job
maybe $200 for misc charges and parts, like pressing in guides or milling the head....

I got a price for the Impulse cams that Xtreme Motorworks offfer with the head $1375 a set!they aren't cheap!
Last valves I got were $80 each stainless.Automotive and even bikes are mass produced. Not much call for Nytro valves I bet.I have done some porting and CNC to do the rough work has got to be a big plus.I would imagine a ton of time and $ spent on a jig and program.Well worth it for the repeatability it would bring though. Then lets face it the hand porting is just a tedious downright filthy job.Not fun for anyone. How many people are going to get port job on a Nytro?Have to make investment pay to make a living.Doesnt do any of us good to have people helping us go out of business. He may have even spent hrs on flowbench.Another jig needed for that.#1 he is a sponsor. He spent $ for that. Its simple if you feel its worth the $ do it yourself and leave the negative comments to yourself.
