:bling can a bad coil fry the ecu ?? have troubles ...not sure to fix it and ride it or sell it ??

Hopefully you didnt replace your bad coil with a SPI coil which didnt work and led you to believe ECU was bad?Aftermarket coils are JUNK.

When I bought the sled it had this problem , so after checking many things we knew the ecu was junk so I bought a used ecu and plugged it in , never changed any coils , and the sled worked great until it was run for a while , then it started missing and code 34 hit again and can't remove it so I brought another ecu . The only thing I didn't change was the coils , only thing left that I did look at ??

34 code is cylinder #2 Ignition Coil.

I would see if that one has spark and if it doesnt put one from #1 in its place to see if that one has spark. If it does then your coil is shot.Only buy a OEM coil.

it does spark when i change it from different holes ,i plug the new ecu in and all three work...

this was like the last time i repaired this ,change the coil around it work every where ,thinking i fixed it ,i left the old coils in it and running cold it works great ,once its hot it would sometimes break down and miss but would come out off it , now it took to missing and code 34 is back in the new ecu i just bought ....

ive checked harness wires for open wires, nothing ,voltage is 14.1 ,tors is by passed ...only thing i can think off is ..could a bad coil fry my ecu again ,only thing i didnt change from this ecu from the last ...

im scared to run this new ecu and it goes again, there not cheap ,plus i have three used oem coils from my buddies wrecked rx1 that i know are good ,that im gonna install thks

pull your spark plug out and inspect it. you may find the top of the plug that connects to the coil has been worn and doesnt make a good connection any more. it happened to me on my sled.

Installed new plug and no difference, also I gently bent the very top of the spark plug so u can hear the coil snap down tightly.

now was told it was my stator breaking down ??

:o| put a stator in ,crank sensor and voltage regulator ...no real change, im now running on all three but there breaking down when under load ?? coils that is ..

:o| tonight i put a wire harness in ,no change ..still throwing codes when under load load ,only thing lest are coils .....??

its the cranksensor the only thing in common with all three coils for codes 33 34 35 windings will work intermitently on and off and it is possible to buy a new sensor and it is NFG they are small cooper winding and can break very easy
