Up until this year ALL the winning XC racers ran the Air shocks also. What I like about the Evols is you can have a plush ride and still take the biggest hit imaginable without uncontrolled bottoming. Would prefer the Evol chamber to be Hydraulic also but it works. Similar system is used in off road race trucks. Hydraulic bumpstops. That was a huge leap forward with them in suspension. Foam Bumpstops are a thing of past. Now if OEM would take note how low to the ground a Offroad Race truck is and use a ZPS system on sleds we would really have something! Expecting that next year. Rally and Offroad trucks are where we need to be. Big suspension but low for speed. Nothing delivers that yet.
