SnowBandit said:Just a FYI slivers stars burn out quicker than normal lights do. It shouldn't be a problem with a sled as they are not on as much as a car thou. Might want to carry a spare somehow thou... Would suck to have both burn out at the same time.. Don't say it can't happen as my brother had both go on his Yukon at about the same time..
They've held-up pretty good so-far. But I've been told by a few people in groups I've ridden with, that they are very bright, and they don't want me behind them at night. I just don't like it when people don't bother to dim their lights - snowmobiles and on the streets. What's up with that!?
As for spares, I've got the ones I pulled-out, just need a bulb-caddy.
But ANYTHING is better than a '71 Evinrude Skeeter though. That thing reminded me of the FLINTSTONES. In fact, I think Fred Flintstone's car had BETTER lighting. LOL

I just ordered a couple sets of Xenon bulbs from Power Bulbs.com for @$28.50 US. They have Osram , Philips and Power Plus brands. I ordered the Power Plus buy one pair for 28.50 and get one free. This was a current deal on the site. They claim 30 to 50% more light than standard bulb. They confirmed order and ship immediate ship with 7-10 days delivery.
