Brother's 07 Apex 121 with a 144 extension. This crack was welded last season, but has cracked again. What options does he have for best fix? Reweld...? Reweld and add support plates...?

After further inspection, both the rail and support plate are cracked. Plate actually came off in two peices where it was cracked.

He's pricing up a new rail...$195 USD.....ouch

your lucky its all it needs. sleds break in multiples of $100. then you got upgrades ,maint ,etc. just close your eyes and swipe that card lol:Rockon:

I've had the shock holes elongate, crack the slides on our vector, with snow on the ground, so used some 1/16 or 3/32 steel plate, with button head cap screws, tapped or star washer nuts depending where, with great success...still going strong years later. We repaired a ski doo xp, or whatever ot was for a racer kid, (clear gas tank), tunnel last year with steel plates where the front arm ripped the bolt hole. Not fancy at all, but very durable. No time during rideable snow to be fancy..lol.

^^ Now thats the kindness only found on TY! Very nice

Thanks for the offer bud. He ended up fabbing some new supports with some thicker aluminum pieces he had lying around...we'll see how she holds up.
