Had to replace my Dalton weight's. Major grooves. Just getting close to the rpm I want. There was a gram weight difference between the new weight and the old weight when loaded the same due to the grooves. Right now I have the 1 inch slug and the 1/4 slug installed. Both are bottomed out turning 9050. Hoping to remove the 1/4 slug and get my 9100/9150 rpm I want...question is with the 1 inch slug installed by itself is it best to bottom it out in the tip? Have the weight in the middle? or have it flush with the heel? Sled is a 2011 nytro xtx, Full hurricane kit, pcv. autotuned, 1.75 backcountry, clutched and assuming geared(bought it like this) seen 107/108 today on a groomed railway bed... clutch's warm could hold lightly for 10sec. Any suggestion on the weight placement?

What Dalton weight are you running? I just picked up a set to put in my Nytro xtx with same setup you have. Looking forward to trying these weights out.

They are dalton nx weights...they came with a setup that was installed on the sled. When they wore out I was lucky he had a set the same there..believe they are 54 grams. Not alot of time in it with the new weights had to go back to work for 3 weeks. I believe I have the 1 inch slug and the smallest slug in. When they were buttoned out I had belt slippage at low end due to no heel weight. top end was good 107..I put the 1inch in flush then turned it in 5 turns that gave me enough room to put the smaller slug in flush. Pulls hard low ,mid and goes right to 9200 at 105/106 with no slippage down low low with the heel/mid weight

Clutches are cool. Stock belt

No idea on helix as it is not marked and dalton will not tell me. The secondary spring I never had tested but is not stiff at all..running the the wrap at 3/3 reminds me of cats red/white. Primary I had tested it is a 90/140kg spring...it is very long and a real prick to d .

Stock rollers I believe

90/140? Your engagement must be really high, especially with stock rollers, wow.
Thinking you might be dealing with a Proline kit.

I believe you are right. Dalton said the weights were out of a proline ki . Comes in around 4300...pulls like a mofo..top end I seen as high as 107 on groomed trails..with a 1:75 backcountry track and I weight 220 before gear. I am also assuming it is geared..never had the cover off. Screenshot_20200130-122059_Messenger.jpgsprings look the same as thi .

I got a dyno tuned map to try. Not home for another 2.5 weeks. My map runs great with autotune smooth as silk no popping anywhere..but excited to try a dyno made map with afr for all throttle postions

I believe at one point it was a proline kit..but the spring are the same as the trail terminator kit in the picture...possible a mixture of multiple kits, maybe a terminator kit running the nx weights...not sure

If I ever get my #*$&@ together I’ll send you my PCV map like we talked about in the fall to compare. I’m finding my STM’s on the heavy side, so may pick up another set of those dalton weights to play with. Sounds like they’re working really well for you.

Ya sled is working well. No worries about the map..I got a hurricane map now, also a ulmer map..my autotune map and just got a dynotuned map..if you need one let me know lol

So are weights in a Proline kit different then the off the shelf Dalton Quick Adjust 54 gram base weights?

That I dont know. He found a set of the nx weights the same as I had base weight was around 54..Regular cost was$279 he gave me the new weights for $179 shipping included with fedex
