Degreeing the Motor

I feel the engines themselves are different. Be it cam timing, ignition or maybe both.

I think it's a combination or Cat map and Exhaust, bringing the exhaust back out conventional snowmobile design = a lot of change in direction (restriction) versus straight out the back.

That would be nice but until I see PEAK hp at around 8500-9000rpm like Nytro I disagree.

The fact that cat did the mapping and still sells dirtier 2 strokes im sure there main goal was emissions to get there fleet average down. performance was secondery.

Thats good then if we find Cam Timing different it will be easy fix.

Back in my stock car racing days changing cam timing required a different timing curve.....at least mine did. Something to consider if you change the cam timing.

You bet. Going to see how the Fuel Tunes and Ignition Tunes affect this first. Really if we can keep the Viper hp curve and get that torque up in rpm range a bit we would have the advantage over Nytro.

Speaking of cam timing, has anyone considered reducing the overlap for boosted engines?
