Dialing in ECP filters seems like a moving target.

I always thought the fuel screws were for idle....and it looks like everyone is using them to tune for mid range?

Just Curious.

They effect the entire range, however, the biggest diferrence is low and mid range.

If you used carb cleaner your bellows should be OK. Oil will make rubber expand but carb cleaner never has hurt mine. I dont know if it was you in the last post about them not fitting but I have had the same problem before on my bike. I put them in the freezer for a while (dont freeze them solid) and then take them out. All of the handling of them with oil on you r fingers swells them so they are just a hair to big. I have had my carbs apart on my GSXR hundreds of times and never had to replace the bellows

Let's see, where to start?
Cubby, don't get me wrong my sled ran great before the ECP filters and after the ECP filters. It also ran great after the carb bellows were swapped so it's just a matter of one of the settings being very finicky. I think it's the fuel screw setting.
There's nothing else wrong with my sled. It pulls HARD on top and upper midrange. It was just rich in the low to midrange. I think I may have remedied the problem. I guess I'll find out on my next ride probably next Monday or Tuesday. I am in the Air National Guard and have to work this weekend.
I did change two things though. I put the Yellow springs back in and turn the fuel screw back in to 1 1/4 turn. I hope that was what was causing my problem. If not I'll drop my needles back to the stock position next. PB
