I wonder if this kit will come with gauges? Also why only a 45hp gain when other turbos like Push say they run 210hp on pump gas???
45hp is a real number. This is the number that will allow for you to install a turbo and maintain your factory warranty. We found out what hp you can run on the dyno at sea level last week. 210hp was not the number we came up with, maybe with the different correction factor on the dyno?

Push is also likely using a head shim to lower compression to turn up the boost & HP without using race fuel, the downside is it hurts throttle response.

Matt,
In your honest opinion do we NEED gauges at 4.5 lbs of boost to be safe? Or under normal conditions will the Viper motor be able to handle the boost with no problems?

If you stay at 4.5-5 lbs and don't change the factory settings on the fuel controller you'll be just fine. The stock motor can handle quite a bit of boost. The fuel system is the weak link.Matt,

Sure am hearing a lot of good things about the Push turbo. Sounds like a better system and setup than the Yamaha factory "boost". Even some guys that have used the Push on their Nytros seemed to be very happy with them

Any ballpark guess on what dealer install will cost? I assume you need to have a dealer install to keep warranty intact, yes/no?

That's strange I haven't heard a single bad thing about mpi's kit. Better yet, factory warranty

Having 3 or more mfrs making turbos for these machines can only be a good thing. Competition drives innovation and quality along with price.

Hmmm, I've heard the opposite. I'll take a Mitsubishi turbo in the MPI kit any day over the chinese knockoff Garrett in the Push kit.Sure am hearing a lot of good things about the Push turbo. I have the Hurricane turbo kit on my 15 Viper. It has the Garrett turbo, don't think its a Chinese knockoff. But this kit look very good and the craftsmanship is second to none. I'm expecting good things from this kit this winter.

Just what I expected. Anybody looking for a quality turbo kit call Dave @ Hurricane. I would put Dave's kit against any other kit out there, the kit is just that good!!!!!

What should customers expect to pay for the installation? Ballpark please....
Also, I'm assuming the kit does not include the necessary clutch changes at that price, correct?
