Dim the dash

Is there a way to dim the display on the dash? To me it seems too bright in the dark.

Window tint film might be an option.

You can get screen protectors anywhere, have to use the flexible type that you can cut not the glass type. I think I went on eBay and got older iPhone 5 protector.
