Started maintenance on my chaincase 2019 zr 9000ltd. Just over 3000km
Because of a few topics on ty about top gear and tensioner I payed close attention to those 2 items!
My top 24 gear with 3 oil holes right through gear and bushing was worn and wobbling on shaft!
The inside bolt on my tensioner was backed out 2 full turns.
I will be replacing top gear and tacking screws
Just want to say thanks to all who shared this issue here on ty! You guys may have saved me from a breakdown next season!!!

Check your driveshaft bearing too. Mine was sloppy on my 2018 with only 1,500 miles.

Chaincase side so far all good!!! I will the doing the clutch side tomorrow ( inspecting, popping off the bearing seals and repacking! Also going to look at locking the lower bearing behind the brake so it doesn't spin on the shaft if it hasn't already!!!

I’m also going to check mine and put set screws in for the bearing behind the brake rotor.

Mine had 2000kms when I switched tracks, shaft and bearing were fine had zero signs of wear. I put one set screw in to keep it snug. Maybe two is better.Lucky I only have kilometers on my sled!!lol

It's been said that the Cats aren't having a gear wearing problem so this must be FAKE NEWS...................OR, you're the first with an honest sack to admit there is problem.
