Sorry about the ignorance, but not knowing, I have to ask...
What's That?????![]()
EFI controller
It will allow the rider to change the fuel map setting to prevent a lean condition from adding stuff like intake, exhaust, ect mods

This sounds like the kind of thing I may want to know more about...hard starting issues when Winter speaks...is there one made FOR the phazer? or is it one size fits most?
Thanks!![]()
Each one is made for a specific model. Don't know if the Phazer has one?
They come in different flavors.
The one pictured has three dials so I would say that one is controlled by the dials -low, mid, high range.
Some are made to just have setting and you select a setting based on what the manual says for your mod level, and some plug into a computer and use software to adjust the curve.
If the Phazer doesn't have one, it will soon. The EFI can only adjust for so much. If you add vents in your airbox and a exhaust system, or in your case (extreme weather) these make tuning back to where in should be.

efi control is good but the h.p. gain will be if we can adjust the ignition timing, i think they'll be 2 set-up's like the apex/attak that is going to be coming out, it won't be cheap though

That is true there will be little HP gain from the controller (except the hp gained from being tuned). The main reason for the EFI controller is to have the motor tuned to run better or because of additional mods done. Most likely the ones on here that put on a exhaust and or intake mod (minus the turbo kits as they come with new maps) are running lean.

the dyno-jet contoller that Allen (Srxspec) is talking about there is going to be 2 configuration first one is and efi controller only and the second is efi & ignition timing advance which will enhance h.p., not sure by how much, like a timimg key that acrtic cat uses except this will be done by the controller to vary the range of timing
