Red sled looks great, if I remember your castle x red coat was really sharp -I now see you did all this red to match the Coat right?

No matter what it is all sharp

Looks awesome. How many of those screws did you add? Do you think the tunnel protectors are needed with just them or is it in case you decide to stud later? Oh and you didn't take a pic of your seat screw :p lol

I would run protectors no matter what if your studded or running a prestudded ripper track.

Also the intake air filters should not have any oil on it and some of the sleds are 1/2 to 3/4 QT low on oil and barely reading on the site tube.

Thanks now I have to go spend more $ lol

This is what I ran into running screw in studs. Due to the sharp point at the base and track lug flexing the point of the screws tear through the track. Like I mentioned before less than 2500 miles on a Doo 600 track and it was not looking good.

I would not recommend unless on a low HP sled.

I will keep that in mind but this is a completely different product and the track style has a ton do with if the track can with stand the wear and tear.

You might be ok if you ride it like my grandma would. Lol

Do you have pics of product before install....Does it have a sharp starting point ?
The reason for success for camoplast/camso on their ice tech tracks is the smooth base all the way to the belting.

I wish you the best of luck.

I did this in an 1 1/4" lug track , and had none of the tear thru as in the pics .
Various brands of these studs have different length screws , for different height lugs .
the worst that happened to me was some studs that come out , but no lug tearing .

Your sled looks very similar to what mine will be, ....... once it arrives .
I like you ,like the red/white better than the blue , as they are also faster than all other colours !
I have had 7 Yammies , and never a blue one !
A couple comments , and questions .
What is that piece of what looks like lite grey sheeting , on the centre of the hood below the windshield ?
I am planning on adding a Linq gas can on the back. Do you think it will fit ,or will I need to keep the original smaller bag ?
Are you planning any additional studding ?
I didnt notice , did you post a part # , for the red tunnel extensions , as I saw them online once , and now only black ? I must be looking in the wrong area.
The only other comment is........
YOU FORGOT THE RED SNOW FLAP AND BOGIE WHEELS !!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you, Love the color also. I think you are seeing the reflection of the lighting off the black plastic. Lights in my shop are really bright. I think the link gas can system will work if you can fasten it within 2" of the Tunnel Edge or you will hit the rear heat ex-changer. Same thing to take into consideration mounting bags thru the tunnel. As far as bags, you can mod the rear of a Viper Bag to work but by the looks of the Sidewinder accessories, they will have a bag that will work without modding the back edge of the bag.

I am set up to add studs but going to give it a few hundred miles as I have it set up now. Like I said on the red flares I acquired them from Yamaha a few years back and dont have the part number on the red.
