First impressions very happy so far

Does Allen use SuperTip weights? I cannot remember.
I recall, they need to be removed to change washers ect on the weight i think, loaded from side.
Dan
You are correct on all counts.

I haven't had any issues with the belt or any binding that I know of but plan to look the sled over after this weekends ride. And Pete that sounds great idea love to hookup with some fellow TY riders. The clutch kit came like mentioned above I loaded the weights as per Allan instructions and seem to be spot on rims have been 8750 to 8800. Great low speed engagement that's smooth and great shifts.
I do remember allen years ago,if asked he would load weights for you,so it was just install in clutch and go,but he has gotten so busy lately,i am sure he just does not have time any more,i remember allen from the old f-7 cat days, when he used to drag race, and he was very competive with the f-7 thanks to STM and his weights and work with cats as well. My sled is starting to make a change in looks, sense we now have a bulkhead,A -arms and servo motor, some wheels, chaincase, waiting on oil tank and tunnel is on its way, along with rivets,so I am getting pumped, and canadale27 called tonight to tell me Carver finallyis coming thru with shock parts, steve has been waiting on to complete my shocks,so just now need new plastic on right side, and if anyone has a single 8" black spoked rear idler wheel, they want to sell, let me know,i have the one good one,and would like to have all 4 wheels on before I ride it,like it used to be,lol so riding at my house may be on for late feb. and march.

FYI, you can load/unload the STM weights on the sled. you just have to remove the cover on the outside of the primary allowing you to push the outer sheave inward exposing the fly weights. (6 bolts) . Remember to line up the "X" on both the cover and spider when reinstalling the cover. The washers can be a little finicky but it is totally doable trail side. I have done it 100 times while testing and tuning!

Good progress Pete. Hope you get back on the snow soon!
