Got to take the Attak out today up in Tug Hill. Trails were decent considering the month. Was great to get out and try it out. It was about 41 degrees.

I have white C&A pro race skis on the sled with 8 inch carbides. Sled stuck in the corners and cornered very flat. Handled awesome considering the less than stellar conditions. I got a lot of spin when taking off hopefully get it studded soon and I'll really be able to compare it with my 05 RX. That and I hope the Excell exhaust gets in to Aaron's shop soon.

I got to demo the pre-productions in the spring and they felt real light. My Attak I'm glad to say does as well. There were a couple spots with some stutter bumps and it handled them like they weren't even there. Can't wait for more snow so I can see how it does in the big rollers and ground pounders (and the powder). I could throw it around as easily as my friend's 500 SS that he just got. All in all the sled was perfect and I have no real complaints (in the conditions I had) other than the temp light coming on a few times for a half a mile or so. Heres some pics.

Nice pics man,wow i am a little surprised to hear you say your temp light came on,but you did say it was 41 degrees, cause we ran 170 miles in jackman yesterday and it never even came close to heating up that much, but looked like we had alot more snow and our temps were in single numbers to about 10 degrees. ;)!

Thanks. My RX last year never overheated except for a Christmas trip me and the wife took up at the Edge. Snow was very sparse going up and it was warm, just wasn't getting anything on to the exchangers. I stopped a couple times and threw snow on the 05 to cool it down a couple times and there was no problem. Just wasn't expecting the Attak to get hot with the radiator.

Hard to say Dirk, it was 40 degrees out. On my 05 I had a large riser and the guards did a great job. Will post more on it when it gets cold out again and we get snow.

That's the sled I want and was wandering what it would look like with a chrome sheild. Nice pics!

I did already 800 km on mine, very good except for darting a lot. Wondering witch are the best skis to put on or just Doolys or Simmons skis..
HERE are pictures...

Rash, what part of canada are you from, northern ontario or b.c ?Sure looks like winter there. It looked like that here last weekend, now it starting to look like new orleans.

Riding in Tug Hill

Yamahnator,
How much snow do you have out there ? Where abouts are you located? I've been thinking of taking a ride out there from western MA. to do some early season riding. Could you get me info on where to stay, directions, registration, etc ?

Thanks.

Great area, had a really nice trip from St Anne-du-Lac up through the Clova Parent area last winter.

May go back again this winter...
