Dont know if this subject has been done before, but i was just curious what everyones first sled was???
I started out on a `77 340 exciter, been diehard yammi from the start, dad taped a small block of wood behind the throttle, and off i went at 4 yrs old. the very next season i got smart and decided to remove the block myself, and have been addicted to speed ever since!

My 1st Yamaha was a 83 SRV and a 80 SS 440.... had some other junk before that... 72 Panther and 76 TX 340. After my 1st Yamaha I never went back.

I started with a used 70's something skirul 340, It had the nasty habit of breaking down just as you started to turn around to head home. Then I took some time off and got an '88 Jag DELUXE with hand wamers that never worked and electric start. After that I got my hands on my XLT, replaced the motor and put 3000 miles on it, it now has around 9K and runs strong. My newest sled is my '07 Vector that I was lucky enough to win in a raffle, only was able to put 100 miles on it this last winter but love it.

Started out at age 5 on my dad's '78 440 Exciter (still have it). Two years later I had enough money saved up to buy my first sled from my uncle which was a '78 Enticer 250. Kind of went backwards in engine size but it was all I could afford at 7 yrs old.
Then I went to a '92 Exciter II 570 (still have it) and then to my current '05 RS Rage. Now I want to get a '08 FX Nytro MTX.

88 Exciter was first Yamie. Before that I learned on an ugly big yellow bug looking Ski-Doo.
