flat spot on driven roller

No idea
I'll be pushing for a belt and helix since it's already marked

Interesting. I was wondering if I should be able to spin them. Because the ones in the primary spin freely and am used to seeing that on my other sleds. Actually, last week (prior to my most recent ride) when I tried spinning them on the secondary, none of them did. Wasn't sure if that was good or bad. And as I said before, all ramps had marks on them.

If your not ABLE to spin the three rollers on your secondary clutch.(on helix ramps) Your one lucky son of a B*&%$..
Most have at least one that's floating in mid air. All three will have marks on ramps > that does not mean much.. When that belt engages the rollers are FORCED to touch.

EDIT unless you can not roll them because they have massive flat spots on them..

I ordered the Arctic cat rollers last week and just got an email that they are back ordered until 3-24-17. All three of my rollers have flat spots on them at 988 miles. My dealer "Fox motor sports" in Grand Rapids is clueless to any of the issues that are common on this forum. (Very frustrating) With parts supply being depleted Yamaha needs to step up to the plate and offer some solutions before we all have $15,000 paper weights sitting in the garage, and our short winter season disappears.

Your best bet for now would be get a hold of ulmer or thunder products, and get yourself some new rollers. Hopfully yamaha comes up with a solution but I have my doubts

I have rollers from Ulmer and just getting ready to put them in, but how the hell do you get the roller pin out ???

I have the retaining screw removed, but that pin won't drop out.

Take a small allen wrench and push it out through the hole on the opposite side

Use a dental tool or a paper clip, there a smaller hole on the opposite side of the roller pin set screw poke the small wire tool and push the pin out.

Thanks Mighty and PSTN Head.... low light conditions, thought I looked and didnt see the hole on the other side.... got it now thanks.

Talked to my dealer today. He said his rep told him about the flat rollers and said that Yamaha was working on it. So Yamaha does know about it. Let's hope its not a 4 year fix like the viper ecu that still has issues.
