I just got a 2016 Viper LTX LE in with the qs 3 shocks. I will likely be offering them up for cash and stock shocks.

^Wow, that was the deal I was searching for as I would have snapped up a leftover SE then and saves serious cash.
But now I got a 50th, so its all good.
SE guys should snap these up!

The LTX-LE has the same shocks front to back as the 9000 RR the thundercat has much cheaper shocks all around.I just picked up a LTX LE and SE and i will be upgrading to the QS3's and I found some of the best pricing at yamahapartshouse.com. You can get all 4 QS3R's for around 2k with springs and you can get the standard QS3's for around $1100 for all 4 and since the center skid shock is the same as the SE shock, I only need the 2 front and rear skid shock to copy the Thundercat, ZR9000, XTX LE and the viper LE's and they are about $345 each with springs for the fronts and $306 for the rear shock.

What do you guys think about changing out the front to to the QS3R but leaving the stock SE shocks in the skid?

All four if you can swing it would be much better, to have those QS3R' s also in the skid would be like riding on pillows. There that good imo

I went with 16 Viper QS3's new on mine for the fronts and rear of rear. I left the front of rear stock. (Mine is the DX) I'm going to see how it rides and then upgrade that one if needed.
