Traded my Nytro XTX in for a Viper XTX a couple weeks ago. Set front float pressure to 65 psi at the dealer. Rode it from dealer 50 miles to the cabin.

Checked the air pressure tonight and the right float had 0 air pressure! Pumped it up and I will check it in the morning before I head out for a ride. Call me paranoid but I recall, while on the ride from the dealer to the cabin two weeks ago, tight left corners were more difficult (heavier steering and some ski lift) to make than tight right corners. Seemed like the front dropped down to the right when making a sharp left corner. Could the friggin' float be defective!? I just thought ZERO pressure in 1 shock and not the other was odd. Thoughts? Thanks!

Remove the schrader valve from stem and clean and lube it. I always shoot a little WD40 in my schrader valve. If that doesnt work remove the shock pump it up to 100psi and put it in sink under water. You can see where it is leaking then. 90% of time it is the schrader valve

The Floats are more trouble than they are worth IMHO. Every shock problem thread on here is about the floats either leaking or riding like crap.

The Floats seem to be like the Habs, "love em or hate em" no middle ground.

I don't want to mess around with removing the valve from the stem right now but are you saying that shooting a little WD-40 inside the valve after taking the cap off may help?

I just checked mine for the first time since December. They were right where I set them. Must be one of the lucky ones.

You serious. It takes 2 minutes. But if you don't want to do it right yes WD with it in is worth a try.
