GONE RACING

How did your sled run?

What an incredible weekend

All I can say Is I am Blessed to be able to do what I do.

Friday, my son Teddy and I loaded up and drove 4 hours in a snow storm and arived safely.

It was snowing lightly and I plowed a test track but visablility was not good so we called it a day and relaxed in the Lake Morey Lounge with all the other racers and freinds.

Sat. the weather was bright and sunny and 30 degrees, we went through tech and entered 4 classes that the tech official said we could enter.

First pass of the day Teddy Clicks off a 5.11 ET at 138.03 MPH in 660 ft. and wins the race.

Teddy ended up with 2 first place finishes for the day.

Wife Cheryle and 2 Daughters Brittni 16 and Dana 13 drove up to meet us that evening after the awards cerimony.

There was a lot of Celebrating going on but I Watched from the sidelines as my fellow freinds and racers partied hard.

Sunday, Teddy and I get an early start setting up for the day and decide to enter 3 classes.

My Freind and Customer Ted Gulizien (The Blue Prostock Turbo RX1) woke up with a Big Head and Ask us if we would Pilot his Sled, Teddy Said No So UP Steps My daughter Brittni, we bring here over to the test track for a few shake down runs and she nails it and says I Got this Dad. WOW!!! I am excited to see my Daughter Take on this beast.

We enter her in Bracket eliminator and open fuel.
Here first pass or Time trial she goes 5.44 ET 128 mph.
We dial here in at a 5.42, for first round and she wins with a 5.54 ET 129.00 mph.
Second and final Round we Dial up to a 5.50 Getting warmer out anyway, and She Chops the tree down with a 5.14 light and goes 5.43 ET 130 mph. she lost by going too fast or what they call breaking out.

Then in open Fuel She Draws Her Brother Teddy, and Roy Oliver on a 1404 Cat, Brittni Cuts both they're eyes out with a 4.66 light to they're 5.46 for Roy and 5.66 for Teddy, but just doesn't have enough power to hold them off, Roy Oliver Takes First, by .019 Teddy Takes second and Brittni Takes Third.

Teddy Takes home a 1st in Pro Outlaw, and a Second in Open fuel.

Brittni Took home a Big Smile Knowing She Can Drive the hell out of these sleds.

A Proud Father Am I!!!

But now I have to build another Sled Brittni is Hooked. :o|

Congrats to you all :)

I guess it must be warming a fathers heart to see the kids take up on racing, you better build your daughter an open fuel sled for next year so she's competitive with your son :).
