Well going to give my shot at bracket racing my apex this summer.... in a few weeks I will begin the quest for skid/track and skis.
I was thinking has anyone done anything with the seating position on the apex? I thought about making a new seat, older style to get behind the windshield and get a little lower. Im a big guy and thought this may help some.
Sled has Excell exhaust, PCIII, Ignition module and Ulmer clutching. Shouuld be interesting to see how it runs.
Bracket raced cars forever. From slow door cars to 4 link dragsters. Im very excited to give this a shot.

Hey Kevin, I think I saw you at Castle rock Dirty Turtle races a few weekends ago, I had a all black apex, I think yours was the only one with a excell exhaust I saw there. Anyways I saw your post here, Im from Racine not to far away, if your interested I have a 15x121 from a few years back when I used to run asphalt with cats, also have a cool down tank and some other stuff, if interested let me know, my name is Adam.

Hey Adam....yep I was there, Excell exhaust, spinning bad, running slow..... I only ran 94mph. Was disappointed. But my studs are shot.

yeah, I got there kinds late when the ice was chewed up some, on trail studs of course, ended up with 100, not to bad I didnt think. I tell ya what, Ill look to see what all I have, the track was used for two seasons, maybe three times each year, not very much, I didnt have much money back then to run every weekend. I havent used it for like 3 or 4 years but its always been stored inside, Ill see what else I have for ya.

kevin, where r u going to race by mauston? im also settin up aapex, but ive never drag raced in my life so i ought to be fun, i was going to buy the stuff from adam, but by the time he got back to me i had found one. i got a couple old yamaha seats sittin around, im was going to try sometnin lower to but it hard with the exhaust, let me know what you come up with
