Been debating adding a heated seat to my Nytro for the cold days.
For those that have it, does it warm your back up much? Or mostly just toast your buns lol.
It will only toast your buns. Sometimes more than what is comfortable. You may find yourself turning it off and riding in the standing position for a few minutes to cool off. It is still nice to have on certain days.

Anyone looking for a heated seat kit for $130.00? I bought one and it is the exact same heating element, switch and wiring harness as Yamaha's kit. It is not the right seat cover but I will use my original seat cover anyhow.

Anybody else buy this kit at all? That's a heck of a deal if it truly works, and still available at that price... looks like it will, but never heard from the poster again in this thread.

I got the heated seat kit for Christmas and its awesome! I did not use the black seat cover that came with it i just used my stock cover and it works fine so far. I looked at the cover that came with is and myn and there was no difference or added layers that's why I didn't use it.

They are still available. I had a local upholstery shop install the seat element for 25.00 and I used original blue white seat cover not the black one in the kit. I installed the wire harness it just plugs in and you have to cut a hole for the switch. It works good as it should it is the same kit you would get from Yamaha. This is my wife's sled and she likes it but it does get very warm like others have said you will probably only use low for short periods of time.

It mostly just warms your butt where it contacts the seating surface.
