2014 viper xtx with D&D muffler, airbox mod, pc5 and dalton clutch kit. Was hitting 9250 at 92mph so added weight hoping it would get rid of the rev limiter, now hitting 9271 at 81mph. Doesn't make sense to me can anyone help?
Is belt slipping? Whos kit? Have you called them?

I can't tell if the belt is slipping. It's a dalton kit and I can't understand why I'm losing top end
Are the clutches black?

It looks like 8JP belt.
The Dalton weights are not a great weight for adjustments....
Put the 1/4 or 1/2 all the way in. This will help with belt slip on top end. If you can't get it to quit hitting rev limiter, a different primary spring is in order.

Yup it's an 8jp belt, what would cause it to start slipping?

Is the other end in 1? if not put it there. Do you have the stock spring for secondary? If so put that in and same 6-1 wrap.

X2 on that, have had nothing but great luck with stock secondary spring. Ran it from stock 130 hp up to turbo 230 hp and never had any slipping issues like that.
