I keep telling OP to get snow trackers!!You really need to put snow trackers on single keel skis and try that. It will handle the twisties light years better than tuners and Dooley runners on single keel ski. Yes the vector is heavier but the eps washes that out. With all my background and knowledge with the Yamaha sleds if I could only own one sled for groomed trail riding it would be the EPS vector Ltx with wrp seat and snow trackers.

I don't find the steering hard at all.
I might put snow trackers on the tunners. Or run 6 /6

Speaking of the LTX LE only, We keep hearing the heavy steering and lack of transfer complaint. It only takes about 20 minutes of adjustments and these issues are gone. Will it wheelie.... sure, but don't plan on it railing anymore. But as far as enough transfer and getting weight off the skis goes, there is more than enough adjustment there.
This sled was made and marketed as a trail sled and they nailed it.

What rubber mount will fit for mounting Yamaha single keel ski and adding snow trackers for the sidewinder ?

No it isn't bug nor is the sw. Sounds like you want something between the both which no brand makes. A 1200 do turbocharged would be great. The skidoo chassis are by far better than the yammie. Now they lake in performance but not that bad especially if you are a cruiser n trail ride as you stated.900 ace LOL not even close to being in the same league as a Vector far as power and responsiveness.

I'm not the one that is looking for a different sled i just though it was funny to even list the 900 Ace when someone is asking about the Winder. No it isn't bug nor is the sw. He had asked if a sw was any comparison to a Vector which it isn't. He wanted too know if it was a good trail sled n my opinion is not really. But I'm comparing in aspects of trail riding not wot or lake running. The sw is heavy why they didn't put eps on it is beyond me. But the 900 ace is a great trail sled upto 90mph because that's maxed out for them but that being said when do you ride through the twisties at 90mph? N the 900 ace will out handle the sw night n dayI'm not the one that is looking for a different sled i just though it was funny to even list the 900 Ace when someone is asking about the Winder.

I have a sw it's fast but handling is not it's perk. I'm still tinkering on settings but it needs different skis n the seat is horrible lol. So stiff. My mxz x seat was nice n soft. This sw seat is like a xrs seat from doo. Anyhow got off topic sorry .He had asked if a sw was any comparison to a Vector which it isn't. Yes I'm curious too I have a ltx le and I find it very stiff and heavy steering would be interested in your thoughts to improveWhat are your suspension settings ? If you dont mind sharing.

I have a 900 ace and a sidewinder. Agree with everything said above about the 900. Also agree the 900 ace sounds like what the op is looking for.

I can agree the #*$&@ Doo's have a better chassis . My brother owns a 2015 1200 Renegade and I have driven a 900 ACE. both have nice suspensions but the 900 doesn't come close to a Vector in performance I would go for the 1200 in a heartbeat. Now when comparing pricing at this time of the year you can get a Sidewinder for very close to the 1200. ( Power Pack in Marshfield Wi has 2 of them at 12K .. Then I would have to go for the Sidewinder! Get the Winder and put Aggressive Snowtrackers on it adjust the suspension to lighten up the steering . I can tell you the Sidewinder has to be less weight than a Vector LTX !

Sure i will get bashed for this, posting it on TYDOOTALK, but there is nothing wrong with the Vector. Get one set up and it will be just as good of a sled as a Doo. Poster is looking for something to put a smile on his face its sure is not going to be a 900 ACE, 1200 would be a better comparison. 900 is a turd compared to what hes driving now. Put a few miles on one and could not wait to get off of it. Sounds like a Briggs and Stratton and has about as much power as one. Sure the 900 is a good long lasting power plant with good mileage and Probably with the best riding suspension, but going from The Yamaha 1049 to the 900 ace is just going to be a let down.
