Maybe it's just me: ( I know it still summer and not many on here... But..)
Looking at the Manual for the timing chain, It says Rotate Clockwise till Piston #3 is at TDC on "Compression Stroke"
But if I look at this diagram in the manual, Intake Cam lobe "c" is in the position that if rotated ClockWise will open the intake valves which puts it at TDC after EXHAUST & just before the INPUT STROKE not Compression stroke as the manual mentions.
The piston go up during compression, at TDC it fires & piston goes down, Back up is Exhaust Stroke and at that TDC is where the picture is...

It all works for timing, just not the "compression stroke"..

Don't worry about the stroke. Piston #3 @ TDC, put the cams (intake lobes at 4 o'clock & exhaust lobes at 8 o'clock) in with dots lined up and you'll be fine. Manual is confusing.
