How do you go about getting race sponsors?

This been kinda puzzling to me. How would one acquire sponsors for racing and is ther more then just one type of sponsorships? I need some help!

Have you checked out www.sponsorhouse.com ? They can get you dialed in with as many sponsors as you want for a fee. Basically as a privateer, your looking at discounted prices on parts, and gear. But as far as free products, or making money from sponsors, your a ways out. After you get a season under your belt, your going to have to build a rider resume, this tracks how much you race, where you race, finishing positions, sponsors for that year ext. Basically the trick to a resume is to "sell" yourself to your potential sponsors. Another rout is to just call or e-mail companies that your interested in, suppose your looking at say woody's, call them up and just ask what they have to offer for "rider support programs". with todays tough times, it may be extra difficult to aquire any help in the form of a sponsorship. You could also ask around at the track, others who have been in the game can also point you in the right direction, and possibly give you some names to drop. Good luck!

Well I pressed ok way tomay time and that happend. So, I tried to delete them but it read I deleated the post so I made a new one. I do have a sponserhoues profile on loopd but I cant real find any snomobile sponser. One thing is that I do need is new bibs and jacket becaues I ride in old carhearts and If buy studs for my track that will take me out of the first two races possable three. I would like to as many races as possable this season and nxt year would be and off year becaues im on deploymeny orders.

Give them a try.

As long as you have orange on your carharts you are good to go.

The important thing is to get out there and have fun. Don't worry's no one will make fun of you for wearing carharts

I am runnig my teck vest over the carhearts and I taped it moslty all orange. I like my carhearts anyways but eventally have to get something that is water ressitant. I could care less if I I got made fun off, I gotin use to it. Do I just call them/ send the an e-mail about sponserships I know some have foarms.
