If you’re running a normal 270 Flash...I’d be putting an aftermarket muffler, or a stock modded muffler at least on it..but that’s jmo.

3bar only needed for STOCK MUFFLER TUNE as per this thread.

Not needed for us guys with older jukebox with 2.5" mufflers.

TD requires the 3 bar for 270 max spool and above tunes. I ran the 260 SM with the stock sensor.

Just to clarify 270r tune hurricane with free flowing exhaust, you do not need 3 bar, only if it’s stock muffler tune.

Is anyone running the 270 flash on a stock muffler? Is it pig rich?

I am running the 270 stock muffler tune designed for the stock muffler!
The 270 performance tune is designed for free flowing exshaust.

Stock 2 bar sensor reads up to 17 only. So any tune at or over 17 psi of boost will need the 3 bar sensor.
TD site states that the 3 bar sensor is needed for tunes with boost levels over 17, or any race tune.

Yes one original cat tuner and one original yamaha tuner
Get them working on the same sled and we have the best tunes in the world!!!!

yes , dave had an updated flash . it seemed to work well. not much difference. next step with the stock muffler 270 flash is a bov and 3 bar sensor. they are on order

Oh ok. I put both those things into my SM Flash Bundle...made a big difference on the Dyno for mine. Way to go imo if you're looking for the best performance/HP in the SM Flashes. I'll be able to try mine out in less than two weeks...can't wait lol.

Did you have a cai on your sled when dynoed?
