Thank you for posting this. I had to look it up why you say this is not a pump gas tune. Hurricane 325hp tune runs at 24lbs boost. My lowly 240SS is far from that. lol

Thanks for posting this Allan.I had a chance to run this back to back yesterday. 24 lbs boost, so it's not a pump gas tune, this is on my chassis dyno, it went from 163 track hp to 165, or approximately 4 horsepower gain at the crankshaft. It's not terrible hard to change on a non-eps unit, simply remove the air box on the clutch guard, two steering post 10mm nuts, remove the BOV hose and then you can wiggle the tube out.
Did the Turbo Intake Mod add boost or did the boost remain the same?

I actually didn't use any glue at all, I worked slowly to sand it and it was a "press fit" by hand. I put a little bit of silicone on it (very thin), but that was it.

Without doing motor work or running a mix of race gas or some sort of booster, you'll never run 24 lbs of boost on a stock turbo on pump gas safely.
It picked up about 150 rpm, I didn't watch the boost number, I was paying more attention to the engine rpm. I'll have to go back and compare logs. Thanks for posting this Allan.

Ya silicon is a good call. Won’t come apart once cured. Tricky thing is you gotta get it clocked in the correct position when you glue it. From the pictures it looks like a pretty straight shotI actually didn't use any glue at all, I worked slowly to sand it and it was a "press fit" by hand. I marked it with a sharpie marker on the top before I made the cut, this way I could hold the original piece and the new piece and have a reference line for clocking it. I clocked it on the bench and just slid it in the sled, I didn't install, uninstall, glue, and reinstall. I just did it once.
