I paid full price for my Hygear, just to let you know there is no conflict of interest here.

These things are amazing. Putting our stock shock (floats) against the floats with Hygear was a contrast that had to be seen to believed. Now we only ride some low speed trails and boondocking so my evaluation may not be the same as yours. But where my stock Viper would lift the skis in the corner the hygear Viper would sail on through same speed like on a rail. Comfort on small to medium bumps was awesome, hard bumps seemed about same as stock.

Money VERY well spent on Hygear.

What Hygear products? The dual chamber cans or the linkage on the rear or both front and rear?

Ask any mountain biker: High end Fox products are great stuff but you pay for it as you do with other top of the line suspension. Their mid level stuff is okay... Their inexpensive stuff is okay, if you've never tried better (orifice damping rears its ugly head on rebound circuits, lack of adjustability, etc.). Luckily they are popular enough that companies can make a business out of modding their products and as the base they're working on is solid there's a lot of improvement to be had.

I was hoping they would have a Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale on the linkage kit, but unfortunately not :(
(They had only some Ski-Doo stuff on Black Friday sale)

The girlfriend threatened me with things you don't want to hear if I mess with her sled now....LOL! She said it rides like a "big ole couch"

It's on my upgrade list (fronts) for this year but it's in the bottom half of the list. Hopefully I get to it before I run out of money:):bling

Thanks for the real world results Stingray. Can't wait to order mine.

I was considering Hygear's Dual Pressure canisters but found the Fox Float 3 Evol upgrade for $275 shipped. Nothing wrong with Hygear's setup but I do prefer the fact that the Fox kit has shock caps that accommodate the canisters instead of clamping them on. I also ran Hygear's dual rate spring on my Nytro's center shock and really liked it so I'm going to try it on the Viper RTX shock.

Keep us informed about the Hygear Dual Rate center shock spring. I liked it on Phazer and am trying a dual rate Cat spring now on Viper but I bet that Hygear will work better.
