Anybodys insurance go up? My new bill is for $806.00. Last years bill was$ 550.00. Foremost insurance. 2 Vectors 2016 and 2017. Full coverage. 2001 Arctic Cat zl 550 Liability. Whats up?

I WAS with Foremost but my bill also jumped a good 30% this year (haven't had an accident/claim, car or sled, in 10+ years). My agent also works with Progressive so I switched to them, kind of split the difference between last years and this years Foremost bill.

Just got my bill from Progressive...
Under $300 for both for the year.

2015 Apex XTX full coverage = $225
2007 Apex RTX liability and comp only= $65

Thanks guys I have not had any claims so maybe I need to talk to Jake wearing Kahkis! Hope I spelled Kahkis right. LOL

Like with any/all insurance shop around each year. I am with Foremost both sleds and enclosed trailer for $300.00 a year full coverage. I have not gotten my renewal, good till Feb/2019

Posts like this kill me. Most of these posts comparing what you pay for your sled insurance to another person is POINTLESS.

People post that they have "FULL COVERAGE" but, full coverage can vary greatly from one policy to the next. Do you both carry the same amount of Liability? Do you have the same deductibles? Do you carry uninsured & underinsured motorist coverage? Do you have a good credit score? ETC, ETC, ETC. Lastly if you're not insured in the same state as the OP, the rate you pay is not available to the OP.

The only way to compare one snowmobile insurance policy to the next is to get a quote with an agent in your own state and compare apples to apples.

You are correct, many things effect your rates. Yes you need to shop in your own area, many variables like you mentioned including where you store them. The question was did your rates go up? Well my annual renewal will be next month, so we will see if mine have gone up since last year.
I will say my rate in Michigan is effected by age, driving record, claims history (on all policies) bundled policies, credit score and now something new this year, how well you pay your utilities including cell phone bill (another way to raise our rates) lol

Same with clutches but that doesn't seem to stop anybody. Hope it snows.

Clutches are something you can touch. Feel. Polish. Adjust. Tweak. Make it squeal, even.

Snowed here, months ago.
