He cost me alot money!!!!! After riding his SC Apex for a few miles, and realizing how much fun it was I thought it about it for few days and decided I had to have one. I ended up parking the M1000 and buying a 06 Apex Mnt with a 2860RS Alpine turbo on it. The sled was very well done and very well taken care off and has been and absolute blast. It's just stupid what that thing will do, I haven't had this much fun riding in years.
Actaully it all started a few years ago when I rode Pro Wrench's Tapex and Chubby's Tapex when they were out riding here in Colorado. That started me thinking and after riding mntxr's sc aprex a few weeks ago I was sold on it. I have never had as much fun as I have with this turbo. I am done with BB 2 strokes. Tony, it's all your fault!!!!!
Also I must say this is one of the most impressive sites I have seen on the net. Tons of great info. very impressive !

Welcome to the site - I rode AC's from the late '80s and thru the 90s, jumped back to Yamaha again in 2001. Been boosted since fall of '05

Thanks guys, I will admit the 4stroke is a totally new thing to me. Even though it is all new I'm excited at the chance to start learning all I can. What really has amazed me about this sight is the wealth of knowledge that is here. When I do a search on a subject I am just amazed at what comes up. Very impressive.
While I can see where the turboed 4 stroke it's not for everyone, it's looking like it is going to be an awsome choice for me. I've had AC since 2001 and ski-doo before that and I can say till this turboed sled I have never had a sled that ran like this. This is the first sled I have ever owned that has the potential for more power than I can use or handle. I have never owned a 2 stroke BB that would even come close. It's jsut amazing what the response of these sleds when you put a load on them.
Once again thank you all for all your time and info you have put into this sight The info here is pricesless for someone like me who is just starting out. Thanks to all who contribute, it is greatly appreciated.
