Just put the relays back on and nothing happened when i turn the key on.Probably some corrosion. Were you able to get it started yet.

When you turn the key on does the tail lights come on?
Have to ask.... Is the emergency switch on?

Do you have the original relays? check fuses too. if all relays and fuses are thawed out and good its time to start checking other things. the guys on this forum are great and they will have other ideas. Grizztracks is great at electrical, listen to him.

The display and tail lights are on their own relay. I doubt you have multiple relay failures.
Does the engine still roll over when the key is in the crank position?

Absolutely nothing is happening. Turn the key and nothing. The weird thing is it had momentarily started twice before this happened and i had driven the machine a couple days prior. The third time i tried starting it the display came on but it looked strange, like there was a black line through the middle and faded words, then i took the key out and the display wouldn’t turn off, Eventually it went off on its own.The display and tail lights are on their own relay. Have you tried to jump start the battery? If your going to trouble shoot this issue you will need to start at the beginning, and don't assume anything. Test and confirm everything. A completely depleted battery or a bad connection at the battery could cause everyone of your issues. I would start with the battery and move on from there. If the battery is the culprit you will need to figure out why.Absolutely nothing is happening. Turn the key and nothing. I have not, i do have a battery tender on there that is telling me its good, not sure how to jump start it though, we only have a few automobiles in town and i dont own any, can snow machine or atv jump start my viper?Have you tried to jump start the battery? It's not a relay issue. It's acting like a bad battery. I've seen those battery tenders act as if the battery is good when it's not. An easy way to check the battery is to measure it's voltage before and then while cranking the engine. A fully charged battery will read 12+ volts and won't fall below 9.4 volts while cranking if good.

here's an example of what low battery voltage can do on these machines.

I
ok, since it won’t turn on, can i check the voltage of the battery while it sits there? Also, whats the procedure for taking the battery out? It doesn’t look as simple as just taking the screws out of the terminals.

Measure the battery voltage in the sled. You do not need to disconnect it for testing. To remove the battery you need to first remove the starter relay on top of it. The procedure is not overly complicated.

Yes you can jump it off of an ATV or another snowmachine. Or if you can just borrow a working battery from someone else just put it in there. Tenders dont really have enough amperage to help the starting process even if the the battery was good, but a battery booster is a good investment. It's not hard to remove the battery, just move the red cover and unscrew the cables with a screwdriver. Make sure the battery connections are tight too, I've seen loose battery connections cause problems. Good luck, I'm sure it's no fun troubleshooting a problem in those temps.
