Leaking Trail Tank

I have a 10 gallon trail tank on a 2010 Nytro MTX. It seems to be leaking around the seal for the fuel pick-up. I tightened things up a bit, but still seems to leak. Any past history with these tanks? Just installed late november.

Sorry I can't help you. Have had 2 of them on XTX's and both have been fine. Good Luck of the fix.

check the gaskets. of they are off a little it can leak. I have had some come off gas cans and not even notice till your spilling fuel

Anyone have a tele number for Trail Tank? I need a rubber o ring from them.

Hey VMAX4 when you mounted yours how did it fit, were you able to use the washers under nuts at the mounting bolts? Did you also have a tight fit installing pick up unit?

I think it was the one of the copper washers. Figuring it just wasn't tight enough. Tightened, wiped clean, no short term leaking............. gonna check after a ride this coming week.
