I believe you need a IQS gauge as well as the CDI to be able to use IQS.

The gauge part number is the same for a iQS equipped sled and a non iQS sled.
I need confirmation if the gauge is plug and play or does it need programming

The CDI controls the IQS along with the IQS box by the fuse box. If the part numbers are the same then you answered your own question.

I won't assume because it's the same part number it doesn't need a different program. Have you replaced a gauge with iQS.The CDI controls the IQS along with the IQS box by the fuse box. If the part numbers are the same then you answered your own question.

I had an issue with my IQS and had to have the cdi flashed to fix it. I lost my driver 1 and driver 2 modes. Never touched the gauge.I won't assume because it's the same part number it doesn't need a different program. Have you replaced a gauge with iQS.

Are you referring to the ECU or the iQS module when you say CDI.

ECU/CDI, same thing. IQS module can not be programmed. If it fails its junk. I had that happen last year.

Sounds like you have first hand experience troubleshooting the system. When your module failed, did it give a code?
Also, have you done any CAN network testing to troubleshoot your previous iQS issues. If so, I'd like to compare notes.
Thanks

Yes I’d did give a code. It said my front left solenoid was not working. I have not done any CAN testing. I don’t have the info or ability to check that unit. Once replaced error was gone for good and found out there are issues was some versions.Sounds like you have first hand experience troubleshooting the system. I don't have any codes. The iQS does not show on the gauge at all. If I unplug the module I get a code. If I unplug any or all of the shocks. No code.

Is the sled running? It does nothing with just the key to on. It has to be running to cycle the IQS

Yes, tested with sled running. Nothing shows on the dash, nothing happens when I try and activate iQS with left hand control and no codes.
Maybe the switch is toast?
