ltx weight transfer

It definetly lifts the front end higher by 3-4" before it stops now. That's with the track flat on the ground and lifting from the front bumper with my forklift.
I wonder if I would remove the bar completely and try to rig up some limiter straps to keep the shock from over extending.

Shouldn't need to worry about over extending a shock, if you remove the bar it's just allowing the suspension to collapse further without any coupling, so it's actually compressing the shock more. It'll only go so far before it bottoms out so nothing to really worry about with the shock.

Kool and thanks, I ride an ltx dx 1.6 ice cobra with a bunch of xtx guys, just want get as much transfer as possible for playing off trail.

My fear was the rail tip going through the windows in the track with out the coupling but it's already been tested so it not an issue!

I got out for the last little run up and down a field where it was shaded with 4-5" snow still just to try my newly installed hurricane 190 turbo and the transfer really made a big difference with my mod! Skis lift about knee hi when I give her and hooks up WAY better!!!

Can you still feel it when the suspension couples? I've completely taken the bar out of mine before but all it does is carry the skis and slows it down and when going over any little knoll it's dangerous with the turbo cuz the front end can really come up at times.

I can still feel it couple and I have the block on the shaft on lowest setting, so I can tighten it up if I want to!

Just be careful no to move the shaft back to far or it will interfere with the tri hub. As it stands now the shaft has to be remove before you can fully loosen the track, but I can live with that.

Didn't really need them this past year! Gonna stud her up this fall though now that it's Boosted .

I've got a few hundred miles on this mod now and it's the best thing I've done to the sled! I can now pull the skis over the rough stuff and of snow banks where before it would just nose dive!

X2, I left mine out when replacing the tribub with the JT 2 wheel kit, think it hooks up better from a standstill than before, absolutely love it.
