Luggage on Apex/Attak -- what do you use?

For those who use luggage for long distance trips on your Apex or Attak, what do you use?

My girlfriends sled LOL...

I dunno how it would look so all I have is the tank bag. I guess a backpack would be good enough since all you would have is a change of underclothes and hygiene stuff.

How does the tank bag attach? The usual snaps and velcro?

Velcro....

I used the underhood bag and tankbag. Not all that impressed w/ the Tank Bag. Mine is already tearing by the fuel tank opening from taking it on/off multiple times, velcro is no longer sticking, the tank bag itself doesn't stay put if you have it packed pretty full. The side pockets don't hold as much as you might think because they are hard to close. Good for MAPS, and other light-weight small items.

For next year I'm all setup with the RX1 saddle bags and I'm thinking that will give me the extra storage room I need and be much easier to take in/out of hotel/cabin.

Doesn't the tank bag get in the way of the "rider forward" position? Anyone have a picture of the bag on their sled?

Funny you should say that because that is what I thought when I bought it. Believe it or not I found it to work way better on My Attak than the RX-1 from last year.

I personally prefer storage units to keep my extra luggage. I took the services of Capitalselfstorage for Storage in Mitchell. I am sure you will also like their services.

I use a windshield bag and occasionally Yamaha semi rigid saddle bags on my Apex. Don't recall which part number they are, but they drape over the trunk flap and down the sides of the seat. It has 3 pockets. No issues with either bag.
