mad at the xtx, rear supension setup??

stingray, i have no issues with the steering "weight" and if i did, its a easy adjustment to fix.
I have a issue with push, AND the rear suspension seems like its doing nothing. i rode a 14 xtx that was super plush last year. wtf did they do to this thing???
when i get aggressive with the trail, i have to hug the gascap like its my job, my knees are hanging off the sides of the sled. and the bite is BARELY what i want.
my nytro xtx had dual 6" cutting carbides on simmons and a low stance, it was point and SHOOT!(think i pulled limiter up 1 hole)
(also, my steering may feel lighter as evol rc2s are a lil shorter then float 3s, so that MAY have taken some of my pressure away.
maybe the simmons will pick it back up(taller saddle?)
it rubs the lotion on its skin this weekend, or else i will wrench on it MONDAY!!%%%%$^

With most of the weight on the skis and back of the skid I have no doubt you have a push in the corners. With the rear shock carrying most of the weight the skid will feel like it has no suspension so to speak. When the front skid shock and rear are correct you will get a weight transfer on take off and feel the front of the sled raise slightly and the back squat some, and neither of my XTX would do this without work on the front skid shock. Also check the shock pressure with no load on the shocks, mine are 60 to 65 front and 100 to 110 rear. Both ours out of the crate were set rock hard, seems the ship them that way.

sweet, so as long as i get away with softening that rear shock and not bottoming the center, i should be on to something!
wish yamaha offered a single model with adjustable valving on the skid shocks, id be trying to buy a set if they did!
